WALT: write a poem about the story that you have read
The sun was bright at the Arthur Fong Park
While watching the cricket game until dark
Eating chocolate was very yummy
When G ate heaps of chocolate he nearly got a sore tummy
Watching the players scoring a goal
When one of them bumped into a pole
G’s role model was doing its job
But when he talked he always sounded fob
The game got excited and scary
When G’s wanted some strawberry
The other team scored a win
When G’s role model gave a grin
The other team started to work as a team
When scoring one goal they got ice cream
The cricket game was over and G’s role models team won
At least the cricket game was done
All the parents started to leave
Because they were getting reading for New Years Eve
